Hey I figured I'd create a topic for riders from Newfoundland.  We could post here and maybe at some point we could organize a group ride or something.  A "safe" group ride that is.

My location is in the St. John's metro area.

Everyday its nice out, which has been a lot lately, if I go out for a 30-40 minute drive, I usually see around 40 riders.. Lots of bikes in NL!

Have you seen NLRider1979's vids on youtube?  He's in the Saint John's metro area too.  Are one of your NLRider with a different nick? 

He's got really nice footage of the surrounding areas.  I would love to ride there.  Seems beautiful!

Newfoundlander checking in here.  I live in Grand Bank (on the Burin Peninsula).  I just went for a little ride tonight actually.  7 degrees, no wind, FXR jacket and a balaclava makes it possible

I'm not a Newfie, but I hope you'll welcome me to a ride if ever I get there with my bike.  It's now mid February and I'm starting to get the riding fever and feel the Spring cannot get here soon enough.  I'll likely be re-watching NLRider's vids soon.
